Mr. Groth was named a director of Specialty Underwriters’ Alliance, Inc. in May 2004. Since March 2001, he has been an Adjunct Professor of Business Administration at The Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. From June 1994 to March 2001, Mr. Groth was Managing Director for First Union Securities, Inc. Mr. Groth held several positions in The Investment Banking Department of The First Boston Corporation from September 1979 to March 1992. From June 1972 to August 1979, Mr. Groth was an associate with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. He currently serves as a director and is a member of the audit committee and the corporate governance and nominating committee of CT Communications, Inc. and serves as a director of The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. |
