Ray Trygstad is the Director of Information Technology for IIT's Center for Professional Development and the Assistant Director for Information Technology of the Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Campus of Illinois Institute of Technology in Wheaton, Illinois. He. He instructs Information Technology and Management as well as Public Administration, and serves as curriculum coordinator for IIT's Information Technology & Management (ITM) degrees, and as the Undergraduate Adviser for the ITM program. He has taught Computer Science and Business at IIT, and also taught in e-Commerce programs offered by the University of Chicago and IIT's Building Businesses on the Web, an executive education program. He is a member of the Council of the World Wide Web Virtual Library, and a Subject Matter Expert for the Computer Industry Trade Association's i-Net+ examination. He was a member of the now-defunct Association of Internet Professionals, where he represented IIT on the Certification Accreditation Council which accredited Internet training and education programs. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy and the University of Denver, Ray is also the owner of Webmaster Sources LLC, a Web startup providing market-specific online resources for Web developers and curricular materials for higher education. |
