Ray Parkinson is Vice President of Research, Development and Engineering. He joined the organization in 1986 as technical director for extruded products and was appointed to his current position in 2000. He has more than 20 years of experience in sales, operations, quality control, engineering, and research and development in diverse manufacturing environments, including wire & cable, steel, and aluminum. Through his career, he has led several new process and business start-ups introducing improved and innovative products to the market. Parkinson earned a Ph.D. in Metallurgy, as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering from Imperial College in the United Kingdom. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from St. Mary’s College. He is a member of the Institute of Metals & Materials and an EU Chartered Engineer. |
