Mr. Kostalek is recognized in the industry for his expertise in loop transmission and new product testing, bringing more than 30 years experience to Phylogy. He began his career with Ohio Bell in 1964, advancing through the construction and engineering organizations and in 1966 built and operated his first test lab facility. During the late 70s early 80s, Mr. Kostalek had the responsibility for the engineering and installation of all the subscriber loop carrier systems in Ohio. Under his supervision, this project started with less than 50 systems and increased to over 1,500 working systems in less than two years. In 1992 Mr. Kostalek managed a team of engineers in the evaluation of a $300 million product selection study that was completed in record 85 days, which set the standard for all future studies. Mr. Kostalek retired in 1994 and joined Alcatel USA to design, build and manage a technical evaluation and quality assurance lab for their telecommunications products and software. |
