Raymond G. Carlin President and Chief Executive Officer StoreNext Retail Technologies Ray Carlin is president and chief executive officer of StoreNext Retail Technologies LLC. He is responsible for overseeing the company s strategic direction and delivery of complete end-to-end solutions for the independent supermarket segment. Carlin s background spans more than 25 years of leadership experience in the global information technology marketplace, including 20 years with NCR Corporation. Carlin launched his career at NCR Corporation, where he held increasingly responsible positions over a span of 20 years, including vice president, Retail Systems Division; and vice president, Worldwide Industry Marketing. As a senior vice president, Carlin led a $3 billion, 12,000-person organization for the United States, Canada and Latin America. He drove a major turnaround effort that played a critical component in NCR s return to profitability and spin-off from AT&T. Prior to his appointment in 2003 to lead StoreNext, Carlin was president and chief executive officer of Zaiq Technologies, a leading systems on-a-chip design company based in Woburn, Mass. In 2001, Zaiq was ranked 35th in the Inc. 500. Carlin also served as president, Solutions Group, of Newton, Mass.-based Renaissance Worldwide Inc., a provider of integrated business and information technology consulting services, where he was responsible for increasing the company s revenue more than 100 percent in one year.
