Ray Allen s distinguished software development and marketing career spans 30+ years. His company, Cii Associates, Incorporated, is an INC 500 recipient as well as one of the first software engineering companies founded in the Research Triangle area. In the past 20 years, Mr. Allen has successfully co-founded and launched six software enterprises in the Research Triangle area: FAS, Incorporated s flagship product FAST! was the largest selling PC audit package servicing over 70,000 accountants nationwide. Burl Software Laboratories Incorporated developed and marketed a software conversion maintenance tool called REVOLVE. Peer Software, Incorporated s product AuditVision was the first trial balance program designed for Windows. Bonaventure Software, Incorporated s product E-lert! gave companies a new way of doing business by accessing e-mail messages remotely using any touchtone telephone. Elsinore Technologies, Inc. created Visual Intercept, the only project-oriented enterprise-ready, incident tracking system for Microsoft developers. LobbyGuard Solutions, LLC produces LobbyGuard, a visitor management systems that enhance school and corporate security. Mr. Allen served as president for the RTP s Council for Entrepreneurial Development, was chosen as their 1987 Arrived Entrepreneur, and was selected as the 1995 RTP Entrepreneur of the Year" by Business Leader Magazine. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Directors for Touch Scientific and NCTA, the North Carolina Technology Association. About Ray Active publicly, Mr. Allen donates much of his time and expertise to symposiums and speeches to various professional groups, including the Fuqua School of Business.
