Ray Hunt became a member of the EDS Board of Directors on 07 June 1996. He is currently CEO and chairman of Hunt Consolidated, Inc. and other related companies, and was chairman of Hunt Oil Company until April 2004.
With respect to government service, Hunt was appointed by President George W. Bush to the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board in October 2001. He is a member of the National Petroleum Council (an industry advisory organization to the Secretary of Energy) and served as its chairman from June 1991 to July 1994.
Hunt serves as a member of the boards of directors of Halliburton Company, King Ranch, Inc. PepsiCo, Inc., The Cooper Institute, The Deadman Foundation, Dallas Medical Resource, North Texas Commission, Inter-American Development Bank, and is the chairman of the board for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Within the oil and gas industry, Hunt is a member of the board of directors of the American Petroleum Institute and serves on its Policy Committee.
Hunt also serves as a member of the board of trustees of the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C., the executive committee of the Southwestern Medical Foundation in Dallas, and the board of trustees of Southern Methodist University |
