Ravinder "Ron" Shahani found opportunity in the 1970s turmoil in the automotive industry.
A financial analyst at Ford Motor Co., his idea was to provide the auto industry with an alternative to the problems of high fixed-cost labor, head-count restrictions and hiring freezes.
Acro Service Corp. was born in Shahani's home office in 1982 by providing General Motors Corp. with technical staffing.
Today, Acro has grown into a national player in staffing, consulting and human-capital management.
The company records revenue of $87 million annually and spans six states and three countries.
Acro never has suffered a financial loss and has grown consistently, Shahani said.
"Our core strength is finding the right people with the right kind of talents the clients are looking for at the times when the clients need them," he said.
Acro provides temporary staffing for engineering and other areas, information-technology consulting and outsourcing, and professional employer organization services. |
