Ravi Raghavan is CIO at Fintura Corporation and is responsible for the strategic vision and operational direction of the technology infrastructure, including managing information security, data warehousing and analytics, software development and IT operations to enable Fintura’s turnkey solutions. Mr. Raghavan brings vast hands-on as well as leadership and management experience in diverse areas of technology spanning more than two decades.
Prior to joining Fintura, Mr. Raghavan was employed at Equifax Inc., where he served in leadership and management roles. During his tenure at Equifax, he was involved in strategic corporate green-field technology initiatives that developed consumer/commercial credit-based products for the financial services industry as well as compliance products in support of the U.S. Patriot Act for the brokerage industry. On these initiatives, he was directly responsible for the technology budget and staff, production support and operations, the architecture, design and implementation, and the deployment of high volume online transactional/batch data processing systems with a web presence.
Prior to Equifax, Mr. Raghavan was a research scientist at USRA/NASA-Marshall Space Flight Center, Space Sciences Division, and served as Co-Principal Investigator on science and technology initiatives in support of NASA’s Mission To Planet Earth Program. Mr. Raghavan co-authored more than twenty scientific papers in leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and international conferences. During his tenure at USRA/NASA, Mr. Raghavan was also nominated to the faculty at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He also advised students on their post-graduate research and mentored high school students on their science projects as part of NASA’s summer student program.
Mr. Raghavan earned the MS and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University as well as a MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
