Mr. Copeland is the Chief Technology Officer for CFA. He oversees the day-to-day technology operations at CFA, including overseeing desktop support, network security and compliance, database maintenance, data migration and hardware and software functioning. In addition, Mr. Copeland heads numerous projects at CFA, from public relations to secure internal document routing. He was chosen to lead CFA's Leadership Committee, a special task force within CFA, established to identify and cultivate leaders on staff. Prior to joining CFA, Mr. Copeland worked as the Special Projects Administrator for GC Associates, an engineering firm in New York, where he spent six months on-site during the renovation of Grand Central Terminal. He has also served as Information Technology Director for China Medical Board of New York, a well-established philanthropic organization based in New York City. At China Medical Board, Mr. Copeland created and maintained a 300-page corporate website, including an interactive web database of over 1,800 global medical schools, the first database of its kind ever created. In addition, he created and delivered multimedia presentations to members of the World Health Organization, American Medical Association and the Chinese Ministry of Health and to the Deans of major medical universities at international medical conferences in New York City, Ann Arbor, Beijing and Hong Kong. Mr. Copeland oversaw all on-site data retrieval, storage and security during eight city Pilot Examinations in China in 2003, coordinated with Ministries of Health and Education for the People's Republic of China. Mr. Copeland earned a BA from Binghamton University and a Masters from Pace University. He is a member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) as well as the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). He volunteers at the New York Blood Center and the Elmsford Animal Shelter. |
