Randy's 30 year business and professional career has been in mergers, acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, venture capital, joint ventures, banking, automobile dealerships, investments and law. As the Co-Managing Shareholder and Director of the Corporate & Securities practice at Greenberg Traurig, P.A. in Orlando, Randy regularly represents start-up and seasoned companies in IPOs and private placements. He has provided valuable counsel to buyers and sellers of businesses in over 200 transactions ranging from several million to over one billion dollars. He was recognized in the 2003-2004 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Randy serves on the Boards of Directors of Gencor Industries, Inc., the Economic Development Commission of Mid-Florida, Inc. and the American Field Service (International Exchange Student Program, New York) and is involved in the management and ownership of Central Florida automobile dealerships. He has served as Chairman of the Orlando Municipal Planning Board, the Orlando Opera Company and the State of Florida Black Business Investment Board. In addition he has served as a Board Member of the Central Florida Innovation Corporation, SunTrust Bank, N.A. and First Florida Bank. Randy holds a J.D. and MBA from the University of Michigan and an A.B. (high honors) from Dartmouth College. |
