Randy L. Elkins assumed the position of acting chief financial officer in October 2006, and has served BPI Energy as controller since February 2005. He is a CPA with more than 15 years of experience in accounting and auditing. Prior to joining BPI, Mr. Elkins held a senior finance position with International Steel Group, Inc. (NYSE: ISG). From January 1992 through September 2004, he served in various increasingly responsible positions with Ernst & Young LLP, most recently as a senior manager in its Transaction Support Group. While at E&Y, he focused on audits of SEC public companies, mergers and acquisitions and bankruptcy restructurings. Mr. Elkins earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Cleveland State University. He is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Accountants.
