Randall Hoeflein joined Rockwell Automation as vice president, Continuous Improvement in February 2007. In this role, Hoeflein provides global leadership and strategic direction for the company’s continuous improvement efforts in quality, customer satisfaction and Lean Six Sigma.
Hoeflein has extensive experience in quality management across a wide variety of industries. Prior to joining Rockwell Automation he served as vice president of Quality for Honeywell Transportation Systems, a $4.5 billion global division of Honeywell International. Hoeflein set the strategic direction and led the efforts of a 500+ member team to achieve customer satisfaction and minimize warranty costs through improvements in reliability, plan and supplier quality, and contract management.
From 2000-2005, Hoeflein served as vice president of Quality for Marconi, a $2.9 billion telecommunications company later acquired by Ericsson. As a member of the senior leadership team, he helped engineer a company turnaround, taking the company from the brink of bankruptcy to being re-listed and profitable. Hoeflein also spent time in quality leadership roles with Millipore Microelectronics and Otis Elevator Company, a division of United Technologies.
Hoeflein is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Manager and Certified TQM instructor. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Old Dominion University, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of New Haven. |
