Mr. Stevens is Director of Sonnenblick-Goldman’s office in Hong Kong. His responsibilities encompass origination, marketing and closing of debt and equity transactions with a strong emphasis on the international marketplace.

Mr. Stevens has almost 30 years of banking, venture capital, real estate and business transaction experience in the Asia Pacific region. Previously, he was an Executive Director in Hong Kong for Horwath Asia Pacific, a tourism, hotel and leisure industry specialist primarily involved in consultancy, capital raising and transaction services. Mr. Stevens is Managing Director of Protek Financial Services Inc, a private investment company based in Hong Kong. He has previously (1987-1994) been a Director of InterPacific Resources Limited, a San Francisco-based investment company affiliated with Mr. Chuck Feeney. He was a founder and Managing Director of Arral and Partners Limited from 1981-1986, one of the region’s first and most successful direct investment firms. Before this assignment, Mr. Stevens spent 9 years (1973-1981) in various assignments in San Francisco, London and Asia with Bank of America. His final assignment was Head of Capital Markets/Syndications for Southeast Asia based in Hong Kong. His initial entry to the region was a two-year Peace Corps assignment in the Fiji Islands where he established two successful businesses still operating today.

Mr. Stevens received his BA and MBA degrees from the University of California at Berkeley.
