Dr. Acevedo was drafted to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Washington where he served as a cardiologist. Upon his discharge in 1971, he came to Milwaukee in partnership with Dr. Richard Ducelle. He continues to work in the greater Milwaukee area as an invasive cardiologist with extensive experience in both coronary and peripheral procedures. He is married, has two children and two grandchildren. His hobbies include horseback riding and running.
