Ramon A. Rodriguez, CPA, is a Director of Bank of Florida Corporation and Vice Chairman of the Board for Bank of Florida.- Southeast. Mr. Rodriguez is an executive with Crowe Chizek., a public accounting firm located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He received his undergraduate degree with a major in Accounting in 1971 from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. In 1983, he completed the Owner’s and President’s Management Program at Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a former President of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a former Chairman of the Florida Board of Accountancy. Mr. Rodriguez is an active Board member of a number of civic organizations, including the United Way of Broward County, WPBT Channel 2, Holy Cross Hospital and Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Mr. Rodriguez was previously a member of the Board of Directors of Barnett Bank of Broward County. He is an owner of DME Corporation, a manufacturing company involved in the aerospace and defense business and also serves on the Board of Directors of Republic Services, Inc., a solid waste company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and Hansberger Institutional Series, a mutual fund. |
