Vice President Research & Development, with 20 years experience conducting and supervising research in electrochemistry with RBC and at Texas A&M University. Dr. Kainthla is a founding principal of RBC, responsible for much of the fundamental work on rechargeable zinc alkaline technology (RZA). Dr. Kainthla received his Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India in 1980 for work on chemical deposition and characterization of semiconducting thin films used in conversion of solar energy to electricity. From 1980-1989 he conducted and supervised research work on various electrochemical problems, including photovoltaic and photoelectrochemical devices, corrosion of materials, electrode processes, and ex-situ/in-situ techniques for the study of electrode solution interface. Dr. Kainthla has published more than 36 research papers in scientific journal and has 4 patents to his credit. |
