Raman Bassi is an associate director for ClinPro where he works directly with the project statistician and manages programmers for the production of tables, listings and graphs. Prior to his position at ClinPro, Dr. Bassi served as senior SAS programmer/data analyst at NJ Biostatistics, Inc., where he analyzed various types of datasets for health economics and outcomes research studies for multiple clients. He began his career in the early 1990s as a programmer at the ABOA Co-operative Thrift and Credit Society Ltd. Dr. Bassi holds his Doctorate of Philosophy in Biosystems from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He earned his Diploma in Computer Applications and Software Development from the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology in Patiala, India and a B.S. in Biology from Panjab University in Chandigarh, India. The Canadian Society of Engineering in Agricultural, Food and Biological Systems awarded Dr. Bassi the best Ph.D. Thesis Award. The government of India’s Ministry of Human Resources and Development also honored him with a Senior Research Fellowship. |
