Ralph D. Heath is Executive Vice President - Aeronautics for Lockheed Martin Corporation. In this role, he leads the corporation’s military aircraft business, which employs more than 25,000 at major locations in California, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas.
The Aeronautics Company is the industry leader for design, development, manufacture and full-service logistics of a wide-range of combat and air mobility aircraft of the United States and allied air forces around the world.
Mr. Heath was appointed to his current position in January 2005. He previously served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the F-22 Raptor Program. In that capacity, he led the transition of this $4 billion annual program from prototype to full-rate production. Joining the company in 1975 as an F-16 design engineer, Mr. Heath progressed through a broad range of positions in engineering, logistics, advanced development, program management, manufacturing, and business development.
A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Heath served four years as a Combat Engineer Officer and was qualified as an Airborne Ranger. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. |
