Rahul Rao is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Washington D.C. office. He is a member of the Trial Department.
Prior to joining McDermott Will & Emery, Rahul was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Eric T. Washington, Chief Judge of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. He also served as a summer associate in a large, multi-practice east coast based law firm.
While at law school, Rahul was a student attorney with the D.C. Law Students in Court program where he made numerous court appearances on behalf of low income District of Columbia residents in the District of Columbia Superior Court. He was also a member of George Washington University Law School's Public Justice Advocacy Clinic, as well as a member of Street Law. Rahul was a Thurgood Marshall Scholar while in law school.
Rahul is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
