Ms. Green also represents clients in all areas of employment litigation, defending employment discrimination and related claims in Rhode Island and Massachusetts state and federal courts and before state and federal administrative agencies. She handles restrictive covenants, employment contracts, severance agreements, and other regulations affecting employment. In addition to litigating employment disputes, Ms. Green provides clients with day-to-day preventive advice to reduce the likelihood of employment-related demands, charges, and litigation. She counsels clients on a variety of matters including: hiring, discipline, termination, wage-and-hour issues, management of medical and other leave, anti-harassment and discrimination training, and personnel policies and procedures. Work for Clients Ms. Green has represented manufacturing companies, financial institutions, construction companies, high-net-worth individuals and their trusts, business owners, and individuals in business and employment litigation. She also advises businesses regarding human resources issues and litigation avoidance techniques, prepares employee and supervisor policies and handbooks, and conducts manager and employee training. Ms. Green was a key presenter for the "Recent Developments in Employment Law" seminar sponsored by Sterling Educational Services in September 2006. Professional Activities Ms. Green is a Performance Judge for the R.I. Legal Education Partnership, and a Board Member for the Big Sisters of Rhode Island. She also serves as an Advisory Board Member of the Gordon School Community Association.
