Coordinating and leading twenty-six separate litigation matters challenging statewide initiative petitions (Drug Lobby Plays Hardball with States, The Wall Street Journal, April 9, 2003, p. A4)
Successfully prosecuted $2.4 million arbitration claim recovering all damages requested, plus attorney fees, plus interest on behalf of national construction client
Lead trial attorney for Chapter 7 Trustee of regional trucking firm and successfully securing $2.3 million judgment against former shareholders who received funds from complex leveraged buyout
Successfully defended bank president in $28 million lawsuit following four-week jury trial
Successfully secured jury verdict in rural community in favor of institutional trustee recovering over $300,000 in trust funds which had been mistakenly distributed
Successful defense jury verdict where plaintiff had sought collection of $2 million debt instrument
Successful defense jury verdict following two-week trial in favor of real estate brokerage firm in seven-figure dispute
Successful defense jury verdict in favor of large manufacturer in rural community in a six-figure contract dispute
Member of trial team in DeRolph v. State of Ohio, which resulted in State commencing $12 billion school construction program
Retained as special litigation counsel for the debtors in the bankruptcy cases of National Century Financial Enterprises, Inc. (November, 2002), a $3.3 billion bankruptcy matter
Successfully represented widow in securing removal of five trustees from $90 million trust where the trustees had inserted themselves into the estate plan of the decedent and successfully placing institutional trustee as successor trustee
Participate as special counsel to Official Committee of Tort Claimants' Committee in bankruptcy case of Dow Corning Corporation, assisting in various matters, including the formation and testing of a trial protocol for estimating tort claims in this multi-billion dollar mass tort bankruptcy case
Represents hospitals and doctors' groups, including successful representation of hospital in defending against attempted takeover
Defend principals of bankrupt public company in $175 million bondholder securities action
