Printz Bolin was appointed Director of Washington Affairs for Tax and Environment in 2001. He operates out of the Washington, D.C. office of Union Pacific Corporation and its subsidiary, Union Pacific Railroad.
In his position, Bolin is responsible for tax issues, environmental legislation, as well as energy issues facing the company. In addition, he also covers health and retirement issues for the company.
Bolin began his career with Union Pacific in 1991 as President of USPCI of Mississippi, the hazardous waste disposal subsidiary of Union Pacific Corporation. After the sale of USPCI in 1994, Bolin joined Union Pacific Resources as Director of State Government Relations. Union Pacific Resources was the energy subsidiary of Union Pacific Corporation.
In 1996, after the successful spin-off of Union Pacific Resources, Bolin was promoted to Vice President for Federal Affairs and managed the company’s Washington, D.C., office until the sale of Union Pacific Resources to Anadarko Corporation in 2000.
Bolin served as Chief of Staff to Senator Trent Lott (R-MS) from 1987 until 1991.
