Pramod K. Srivastava has been a director since 1999. Dr. Srivastava is the scientific founder of Antigenics and has served as chairman of the scientific advisory board since inception. Dr. Srivastava is a professor of immunology at the University of Connecticut, where he holds an endowed chair in cancer immunology and is the director of the Center for Immunotherapy of Cancer and Infectious Diseases. Dr. Srivastava earned his PhD in biochemistry from the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, India, and received his postdoctoral training at Yale University and the Sloan-Kettering Institute for Cancer Research. Dr. Srivastava serves on the scientific advisory council of the Cancer Research Institute, New York, and was a member of the Experimental Immunology Study Section of the National Institutes of Health of the United States government from 1994 until 1999. He has been inducted into the Roll of Honor of the International Union Against Cancer and is listed in several Who’s Who compilations.
