Dr. Ganguli is the CEO of Vision-IPR, an Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) management consulting firm. Clients include companies in the Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Engineering industries. He is an adjunct professor of IPR at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Prabuddha has been honored as a fellow to the Maharastra Academy of Sciences, and to the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (Germany). Additionally, he is Honorary Scientific Consultant to the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. He is a Member of the National Expert Group on Issues linked to Access to Biological materials vis-?is TRIPS and CBD Agreements constituted by the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry. He is also a Member of the Editorial Board of the IPR journal "World Patent Information" published by Elsevier Science Limited, UK. Dr. Ganguli is a Consultant to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva in IPR capability building training programs in various parts of the world. Dr. Ganguli received a PhD from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Bombay in chemical physics, a M.Sc. in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology (Kanpur), and a BS from the Indian Institute of Science (Bombay University). |
