Nick Leitch is an officer with LeClairRyan, where he specializes in the defense of medical malpractice claims. He has represented a wide variety of health care providers, including physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and ancillary health care providers in medical malpractice litigation. He provides representation of medical professionals before state licensing boards and credentialing committees. He also provides counseling to hospitals and physician groups regarding patient care issues, medical staff relations and risk management/quality assurance. He has given lectures to various groups of medical professionals, including the Alleghany-Bath Medical Society, the Virginia Society of Hospital Risk Managers, and the Parish Nurse Association. Mr. Leitch is an active member of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, the Defense Research Institute, the Virginia Bar Association and the Roanoke Bar Association.
