Porter Arbogast brings over 30 years in the design and research and development for solar energy systems to eSolar. Mr. Arbogast founded North American Sun, Inc. and served as President where he oversaw development of the company's technology. While there, Mr. Arbogast received a patent for his miniature heliostat system and a patent for his automatic servicing and refurbishing systems. In addition, at Hewlett-Packard he received 8 patents for various "Hot Swap" and "quick release" assemblies utilized in HP's High-end workstations. A ninth patent was received at HP for his innovative cooling design which provided quiet operation and cooling of HP's fastest High-end workstation processors. Most recently he was Director of Testing for Energy Innovations where he led the company's concentrating solar photovoltaic testing program. Mr. Arbogast holds an MSE from West Virginia University and a BS in Mathematics from East Stroudsburg University. |
