Pirooz co-founded Plato Networks and has led the successful development of physical layer solutions for a variety of applications including Ethernet over copper and 802.11. With over 20 years of experience in analog and mixed signal IC design, his expertise includes both data converters and signal processing. Previously, at National Semiconductor Pirooz designed IC's for wireless communications and high-resolution data converters. He led analog projects at Adaptec focused on optical/magnetic servos for mass storage systems. Prior roles included architecture and circuit development for FPGAs and analog memories at ICT Corporation and design of high speed data converters for video and imaging applications at Micro Power Systems. Pirooz has one U.S. patent and received a B.S. degree from University of California at Davis and an M.S. degree from University of Arizona. |
