Pinkie Dent Mayfield is assistant treasurer of The Washington Post Company, a position she has held since 1999. She is also senior director - corporate solutions. Mayfield joined the company in 1998 as the corporate cash manager. Prior to joining The Washington Post Company, Mayfield was a vice president and trust officer at NationsBank (now Bank of America), where she worked in the Investment Services Division as part of the Foundations & Endowments Group. Earlier in her career she was with Prudential Securities.
Mayfield serves on a number of boards of directors, including the District of Columbia College Access Program (DC-CAP), Trinity College, Metropolitan Community Development Corporation and Leadership Washington, of which she is also a graduate (Class of 2001).
Mayfield graduated magna cum laude with a BA in business administration from Trinity College in Washington, DC, and received an MBA from the University of Maryland University College.
