Ping Liu is general manager for INTEC Engineering’s Delft office in The Netherlands, responsible for business acquisition, project execution and overall activities. He also is significantly involved in key engineering efforts and numerous projects.
Liu joined INTEC in 1997. Since that time, he has served as Delft’s manager of Engineering and has project managed an extensive number of projects in the North Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, Russian waters and the Middle East.
Project highlights include the Blue Stream project, Ormen Lange installability study, Northern European Gas Pipeline project, DEPA-Edison Inter-connector Greece to Italy pre-front-end engineering design study, Galsi’s pre-engineering and survey project for the Deep Mediterranean crossing, as well as a large number of pipeline and marine terminal projects in the North Sea and the Middle East.
Liu holds a bachelor’s of science degree in aerospace technology from the Changsha Institute of Technology in China; a master’s degree in nonlinear dynamics from Tianjin University in China; a doctorate in engineering mechanics from Tsinghua University at Beijing; and a doctorate in offshore technology from Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands. |
