Phillip Kwun joined Sonenshine Partners in October 1999. Mr. Kwun's practice focuses primarily on telecommunications (infrastructure and services), transaction and information processing, and health care services.
Representative transactions at Sonenshine Partners include the $530 million sale of ProQuest Business Solutions to Snap-On, the $210 million sale of Riverstone Networks to Lucent, and the $150 million restructuring and merger of the KKR-backed CLEC, NewSouth Communications, into NuVox.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kwun was an investment banker at BT Wolfensohn, the mergers and acquisitions division of BT Alex. Brown, and its successor firm, Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown.
Mr. Kwun holds a BA (with Distinction) from Yale College and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
