A third-generation family member of Roman Electric, Phil (son of Gerv Rose) began his career as a Plant Engineer then served as Estimator, Engineer and Project Manager for a Michigan electrical contractor. He joined Roman in 1992 as a Project Manager and was appointed Vice President in 1997. Phil is active in professional and volunteer organizations. He is a member of the Marquette High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

Master of Business Administration, University of Michigan, 1990. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Cum Laude), Marquette University, 1986. National Electrical Contractors Association training, electrical estimating and marketing courses and seminars. Other courses in management, job control, leadership and selling.
