Prior to Bellingham Marine’s acquisition of Florida Floats, Inc. (FFI); Phil owned and managed FFI. He began his career with FFI in 1972 and following the sale to BMI in 1985, remained at the Company as General Manager. Under Phil’s direction, FFI became the leading manufacturer of concrete flotation systems in the Southeast. In 1993, Phil was asked to take over as General Manager of the Southwest Division based in Dixon, California. After four successful years there, Phil and his family relocated in late 1997, this time to Brisbane, Australia to organize and run Bellingham Marine’s operations for the newly formed Bellingham Marine Australia (BMA) and Bellingham Marine New Zealand (BMNZ). In 2001, they returned to Florida where Phil assumed the duties of Executive Vice President of Bellingham Marine. He currently oversees BMI’s Marketing efforts as well as the day-to-day operations of the five US divisions. Phil earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from the Florida State University in 1969, and then served as a Captain in the US Army until 1972. |
