Philippe Bouchard is a researcher and professor at the Hôpital Saint-Antoine in Paris, France. Bouchard has also served as a doctor in Burkina Faso and as a research fellow at the Population Council's Center for Biomedical Research. Bouchard was recently received as a Chevalier in the Ordre National de la Légion d'Honneur, which was created by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802 to recognize extraordinary service to France.
