Mr. Siegel has a broad background in managing and developing technology, and has extensive experience in the fields of content protection and both physical and electronic security. He was previously Vice President of Content Security for Fox Entertainment Group, and Director of Conditional Access Engineering Operations for DIRECTV, the nations largest satellite TV broadcaster. He has a total of six patents and was awarded the DIRECTV Outstanding Patent Award for a patent in the field of content protection and security.
An entrepreneur, he recently helped develop a mobile content delivery startup company, as well as a long tail content delivery system for a major international entertainment company. Mr. Siegel has been a keynote speaker at industry content security and anti-piracy forums and is a noted expert in the field of content protection.
Mr. Siegel served his country in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Lt Colonel. His many assignments included B-52 flight duty and Intelligence Officer at NSA and DIA. He currently consultants on security and counter terrorism and is a sector chairman of the FBI’s Infragard Los Angeles Alliance.
Mr. Siegel has a B.S. degree in Physics, an M.S. in Management, and an MBA specializing in Operations Research. |
