Mr. Matthews comes with over 18 years of experience in the varied fields of manufacturing, software and transportation. Before joining ServiceBench, he was the Chief Information Officer and Managing Director of US Airways, the fifth largest airline and $10 billion provider of transportation, where he was instrumental in reducing IT costs while improving productivity to support the emergence of the company as a low-cost carrier. Prior to that, Mr. Matthews held several management positions with increasing levels of responsibility at Manugistis, Inc., a leading provider of supply and demand chain software that serves Fortune 1000 companies in all major industries. He led a number of functions including consulting, solution delivery, marketing and product management, culminating in an officer position as a member of the executive committee. Mr. Matthews began his career in industrial engineering management at Schlumberger, Ltd., a $9 billion global provider of energy management and technology services and products. |
