Philip G. Porter is senior vice president of U.S. Property & Casualty for Crawford & Company. He is responsible for all of Crawford’s U.S. operations that provide casualty services; property services; vehicle services; regional management; and sales.
Porter received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa.
Porter joined Crawford in 1973 as branch adjuster in Peoria, Illinois. He became branch claims supervisor in Kansas City, Missouri in 1985, and in 1988, he was promoted to assistant operations manager of the Midwest region. In 1991, he was promoted to vice president, regional manager for the Western Region. Among his many accomplishments, he is credited with managing the successful startup of our Class
Action Services and Investigation Services operations.
Since 2001, Porter has been senior vice president of Business Development for the Insurance Carrier Market U.S. and Global Business Development. Porter belongs to several professional organizations including the Loss Executives Association, NAPSLO/AAMGA, and the Atlanta Claims Association. He is also on the executive steering committee of the Insurance Industry Group PLRB. |
