Phil is responsible for the general management of Clearview along with handling the investor, legal, and strategic business affairs of the company. Phil also leads Clearview's direct and channel sales in addition to various corporate and business development initiatives. Before joining Clearview, Phil served as President and CEO of Breece Hill LLC and its predecessor Maxoptix Corporation. In less than 12 months he led the newly consolidated company through a complete restructuring while redefining its product line and go-to-market strategy. This enabled Breece Hill to be the first company worldwide to launch a fully integrated disk-to-disk-to-tape (D2D2T) solution with server, data management software, disk storage, and tape automation all in a 4U form factor. Prior to working at Maxoptix, Phil architected the purchase of TREEV from its parent company, Ceyoniq, and served on TREEV's board of directors. Having worked with all of the Tier One Original Equipment Manufacturer suppliers and vendors, Phil negotiated and closed a distribution contract with GE Access, a multi-billion dollar value-added distributor supporting over 2,000 channel partners worldwide. In July of 2003, he negotiated and closed the acquisition of Avail Solutions, a file-based data management software company. |
