Prior to joining Greater Media, Mr. Redo served as Vice President of Station Operations and Strategy for New York Public Radio, WNYC-AM and FM. Prior to that, he spent four years as Vice President of MJI Broadcasting in New York (which became a division of Premiere Radio Networks in 1999). In addition, Mr. Redo spent eight years as Vice President/General Manager for Viacom's WLIT-FM in Chicago and was the first Program Director for AC powerhouse WLTW in New York. Mr. Redo served as Program Director of Greater Media's WMJX-FM in Boston from 1986-1990 and also worked as an on-air personality for the original WROR in the early 1980's. A Manhattan native, Mr. Redo received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology in 1978 from Colby College. He is the former President of the Radio Broadcasters of Chicago. In addition, Mr. Redo served as an elected member of the Arbitron Advisory Council from 1996-1997 and received the "Air Personality of the Year" Award from Billboard Magazine in 1978. Over the years, he has also served on a variety of non-profit boards. Mr. Redo currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Boston Ad Club and the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association. |
