Phil Jasper is the vice president and general manager of the Integrated Systems business area of Rockwell Collins. In this capacity he has oversight and responsibility for all integrated systems related activities and programs including avionics systems integrations, airborne and ground based mission communication systems and secure communication and command and control systems.
Mr. Jasper joined the Rockwell Collins team in 1992. Since joining Rockwell Collins he has held various engineering and management positions including: Lead Systems Engineer for the KC-10, C-5 and C-9 Avionics Upgrade Programs, Technical Director of the C/KC-135 Pacer CRAG program, Program Manager for the Pacer CRAG ECPs, Programs Manager of the C/KC-135 GATM program and Director of Air Mobility, Bombers & Special Mission Programs. Prior to assuming the role of vice president and general manager, Mr. Jasper was the senior director of Air Force Programs within the Integrated Systems business area of Rockwell Collins. In this capacity he had oversight and responsibility for all Air Force related activities and aircraft and ground integrated systems and programs including GEMS, KG-3X, Scope Command, E-8, E-3, B-1, C-130, C-17, KC-135 and KC-767.
Mr. Jasper has performed numerous studies on avionics and communications systems, the emerging global airspace access requirements and the applicability of those requirements to the DoD. Mr. Jasper has also been heavily involved in the development of Future Air Navigation System (FANS) capabilities and served as a liaison between the Commercial and Government business units within Rockwell Collins.
Mr. Jasper holds a bachelor and masters degree in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Business Administration from Iowa State University. |
