Ms. Zimmer holds a degree in industrial engineering. She started with Arthur Andersen in 1982 and worked in various positions up to manager level until 1988. From 1988 till 1995 she worked in several managerial positions (finance, HRM, EDP, controller) in several industries. From 1995 till 1998 she worked as independent tax advisor. Since 1998 Ms. Zimmer has combined her activities as independent tax advisor with the finance role at Rhein Biotech GmbH. She played an important role in the restructuring and the establishment of the financial function at the Rhein Biotech Group before and after their initial public offering. Since 2006, Ms. Zimmer is fully dedicated to Finance, Human Resources and Administration at Dynavax Europe.
