Dr. Soltani joined the Company in November 2000 as Vice President and General Manager of Direct Radiography Division and is currently the Vice President of the Breast Health line of business. Prior to joining the Company Dr. Soltani served as General Manager and Executive Committee member of the NDT Business Group Digital Systems at Agfa-Gevaert from 1999 to November 2000. From 1994 to 1999 Dr. Soltani served as General Manager Imaging Systems Division of Liberty Technologies Inc. Prior to joining Liberty Technologies Dr. Soltani was with Quantex Corporation from 1986 to 1994 serving as Vice President Technology. Dr. Soltani is the principal author or co-author of a number of patents related to digital imaging technologies and has published numerous articles on radiation sensing devices. Dr. Soltani received a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the University of Maryland in 1994.
