Pete is a recognized leader in the science of air filtration, with more than 15 years of professional experience in research and product development. He spent a number of years as a Honeywell Senior Scientist, assessing new air filtration technologies, directing testing for product evaluations and serving the technical expert for air cleaner research and development projects. He has also served as an industry consultant on the subject of air purification. His research history includes work in the areas of filtration, particle behavior and airflow turbulence as well as experimental studies on electrostatic precipitator design. He has published numerous journal and technical reports as well presented his research at many professional conferences. Pete holds a PhD and an MS in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University and a BS in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University. He is an active member of ASHRAE, IEEE and the American Society of Civil Engineers. |
