Dr. Literati is the inventor/scientist who leads the Company’s drug discovery program. He has broad experience in drug development and heads all research activities at N-Gene. Dr. Literati has worked in pharmaceutical research and development for 28 years.
Dr. Literati is a leading expert in the stress response field and was among the first drug developers of heat shock protein targeted molecules. He is the co-discoverer of a novel mechanism of action of insulin sensitization and co-inventor/lead scientist in the commercial development of N-Gene's compounds. Dr. Literati is one of the world's foremost experts in hydroxymic acid chemistry, the basis for BGP-15. For more than 20 years, Dr. Literati has been involved in the development of hydroxymic acids and has published widely in the area.
Dr. Literati is credited with more than 20 patents in the area and has developed 10 over-the-counter (OTC) and food supplement products currently being sold throughout Europe.
Dr. Literati was the founder of East Europe's first biotechnology venture and is credited with several internationally recognized patents and science publications.
