Mr. Horsewood joined PreMD in 2000 with extensive scientific and clinical expertise. He directs development of PreMD’s skin cholesterol products, establishes product specifications and ensures all related research products and projects meet quality management system requirements. Mr. Horsewood also plays a leading role in developing the company’s intellectual property strategy.
Prior to joining PreMD, Mr. Horsewood served in a variety of academic and senior scientific roles, including at the Canadian Blood Service, AB Biological Supplies Inc., and McMaster University, in Hamilton, Ontario. Mr. Horsewood also currently serves part-time as an Associate Professor at McMaster University, Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine.
Mr. Horsewood holds a Bachelor of Science degree (1st Class Honors, 1969) and a doctorate (organic chemistry, 1972) from Loughborough University, in Leicestershire, United Kingdom. His academic achievements include 50 articles published in refereed journals, six book chapters and 55 abstracts accepted at major scientific meetings. |
