J. Peter Herz was appointed to the IPextreme board in March 2004. Mr. Herz's career spans 20 years primarily in the Storage, EDA and semiconductor industries. Mr. Herz served in several positions including founding CEO at storage provided 3ware, Inc. (acquired by AMCC in April 2004). Prior to 3Ware, Mr. Herz served in many EDA companies including HHB Systems (acquired by Racal Redac) followed by senior roles at Compiled Designs (acquired by Synopsys), Synopsys and Siemens Semiconductor (now Infineon). Mr. Herz holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University. |
