Before founding his own search firm, The Goodkind Group, Inc., in 1991, Peter Goodkind worked at Grey Advertising and at M-A Management Associates, Inc., a mid-management search agency. In its first decade, The Goodkind Group expanded to include permanent and temporary search services in Information Technology, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, Financial Services, Accounting, Real Estate and Administrative support. Under Mr. Goodkind s leadership and with the success of its sales and recruiting efforts, The Goodkind Group doubled its revenues each year from 1995 until its merger with Strategic Legal Resources, Inc., in 2001 (see corporate history). In the 1990 s, Mr. Goodkind conceived of and developed the On-Site Recruitment Program (OSRP TM), a trademarked contingency search program designed to join forces with a client's in-house recruiting function to render the overall recruiting process more cost-effective and efficient. Several of Strategic Workforce s clients presently utilize the OSRP TM to manage their temporary and permanent staffing needs. Mr. Goodkind received his B.A. from Columbia University in 1984. He currently serves as a trustee of a private charitable foundation, and he participates in several other philanthropic ventures including CORE (Congress for Racial Equalities) and The Camphill Foundation, an organization that provides a healthy and vibrant community for the developmentally disabled. He lives in Katonah, New York with his wife, three children and a menagerie of dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and fish. |
