Mr. Formanek is currently strategic advisor to numerous Venture Capital and Private Equity Funds, including Formative Ventures - $90M early-stage VC fund in Silicon Valley, SAVP - a $102M early stage VC fund in NYC, SCG - a $400 million AUM emerging markets-focused private-equity fund in Greenwich, CT, and to several large family offices and hedge funds in the NY-metro area. He has been the co-founder and a key executive of several technology companies, and has represented numerous middle-market companies to purchase, sell, refinance, or restructure their operations. He is a CPA, and has worked in public accounting for 20+ years. He worked on Wall Street as a Financial Analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and Spear, Leeds & Kellogg. Formanek received his MBA in finance from the University of Bridgeport, and his BS in accounting, magna cum laude, from the University of Bridgeport. |
