Peter Brandano is KoolConnect Technologies' Vice President of Technology where he is responsible leading the Engineering team in all aspects of product research, development, and on-going maintenance. Peter joined KoolConnect Technologies (then General Dynamics Interactive) in early 2001 where he began working with the user interface, middleware, and database teams. Peter has played an active role in all aspects of KoolConnect engineering over the years as both an individual contributor and manager of all aspects of the software/systems development and global system deployments.
During his career in technology, Peter has been exposed to the full gamut of Interactive Software Development and Management. Immediately prior to joining KoolConnect, Peter was a contributing Author and Director of Multimedia Development for Deitel and Associates Inc. There he led multimedia development efforts and wrote chapters of industry leading Computer Science textbooks. Prior to that, Peter worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and InUnity Corporation (now NewRiver) in Software Development roles.
In addition, Peter was a contributing author of numerous Deitel and Associates Computer Science textbooks including Internet and World Wide Web How to Program 2e, eBusiness & eCommerce How To Program, XML How To Program, and Wireless Internet and Mobile Business How To Program. Peter also has an International patent pending for his work on KoolConnect's Intrigue Interactive Entertainment System entitled (WO/2004/001542) SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING MEDIA CONTENT
Peter holds a bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Boston College and is pursuing an MS in Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
