Prior to joining UTStarcom in July 2007 Mr. Blackmore was president of Worldwide Sales Marketing & Technology for the Unisys Corporation as well as executive vice president of the Unisys Board of Directors since 2005. Prior to joining Unisys in 2004 Peter held roles as both executive vice president of the Hewlett-Packard Customer Solutions Group and executive vice president of the Enterprise Systems Group. From 1991 until its acquisition by Hewlett-Packard in 2002 he was with Compaq Computer Corporation serving in a number of senior management positions including senior vice president of worldwide sales services and marketing. Prior to joining Compaq Peter was marketing director for Rank Xerox UK and held senior positions in the UK and internationally for Burroughs Corporation (now Unisys).
Peter attended Trinity College Cambridge and holds a master's degree in economics. Peter is also on the Boards of both MEMC Electronic Materials Inc. and M-Flex USA |
